At 32, Luke Brugnara has become a familiar name in San Francisco real estate. Controlling more than 500,000 square feet of property, he has put together a strong presence in the city’s downtown core.
One of his recent moves shows how active he remains. After parting with 735 Market Street, Brugnara acquired 351 California Street, better known as the Pacific Bank Building. This deal added another historic site to a portfolio that now approaches 100 million dollars in value.
His first step into real estate came at 28. He bought a 1.5 million dollar bankruptcy note on the Kress Building at 939 Market Street, then secured a 3 million dollar loan to close the deal. That early decision led to a chain of acquisitions that built the foundation for his current portfolio.
Today, Luke Brugnara owns several well-known downtown properties. These include the Bulletin Building on Mission Street, the Westinghouse Electric Building on Second Avenue, and the Royal Globe Insurance Building on Sansome Street.
With the recent addition of the Pacific Bank Building, his presence in the heart of the city continues to grow.
